"Antioch" sailed in the Mediterranean (Corse, Italy, Sicily, Greece, Egypt), then passed the Suez Canal and crossed the Red Sea, Indian Ocean (The Indies) and the Atlantic Ocean (Antilles)

HISTORICAL :
ANTIOCHE was launched on 16 avril 1962 at the Edouard RICHARD shipyard in Marennes.
He is the number 4 from the Serie “Family Cruise” (CF) legendary CHASSIRON.
First type of pleasure sailboat built by this shipyard, the plans are of E. RICHARD signed, for approval, by Marie Humblot.

MAIN NAVIGATIONS:
– 1969 / 1972 : Mediterranean, Indian Ocean (Madagascar, The meeting, The Indies).
– 1974 / 1978 : Atlantic Ocean (Antilles).
– 1982 / 1984 : Refurbishment in Bordeaux.
– 1984 nowadays : Back to the Mediterranean (Corse, Italy, Spain, The Balearics,  Levant Islands, Marseille, Friuli, The Calanques and… the Etang de Thau.

Jacques Seaume is in, since august 1996, the seventh owner.

In 2001 it is registered in the flotilla of Avenir Tradition Marine (ATM) from Marseille.

In 2002 it becomes the first character boat (bois) of the Marseille Association “LABEL’ MER”.
